MorumBIS (Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo), at Praça Roberto Gomes Pedrosa 1, hosts U2 on Wed 10 March and Fri 12 March 2027. Gates open at 4pm and the show starts at 9pm, according to Ticketmaster Brasil. The nearest metro station is São Paulo-Morumbi, on Line 4-Amarela (Yellow) 12.
On show days the area around the stadium has road closures and heavy traffic. City Hall, CET (the traffic authority) and the police recommend taking the metro and buses 4,7.
GRU (Guarulhos): Aeroporto-Guarulhos station is on CPTM Line 13-Jade and connects to the terminals by free shuttle bus or the aeromóvel people mover 13,15. The Expresso Aeroporto runs to Palmeiras-Barra Funda, stopping at central stations; CPTM lists a fare of R$ 5.40 15. The station is open Sunday to Friday from 4am to midnight, and on Saturdays from 4am to 1am 13.
Buses from GRU (Terminal 2): Airport Bus Service runs lines 316 (Circuito dos Hotéis, the hotel circuit on Av. Paulista), 258 (Congonhas), 472 (Barra Funda) and 472EX1 (Tietê). EMTU line 257 goes to Tatuapé metro station 14.
CGH (Congonhas): the Line 17-Ouro (Gold) monorail links the airport to Line 5-Lilás (Lilac) at Campo Belo station and to Line 9-Esmeralda (Emerald) at Morumbi station 16. Since 30 Sep 2026 it runs Monday to Saturday, 6am to 10pm, still in a transition phase and free of charge 17. Another option is bus 609J-10, which leaves from São Judas station (Line 1) 18. By taxi or ride-hailing app, the trip to the city centre takes 20 to 40 minutes outside rush hour 18.
Getting to the stadium
Metro: take Line 4-Amarela to São Paulo-Morumbi 1,12. From the station to the stadium it's about 1.4 km, or a 15 to 25-minute walk along Av. Jorge João Saad 8,9,11. Line 4 connects at Luz (Line 1 and CPTM 7/11), República (Line 3), Paulista (Line 2) and Pinheiros (Line 9) 1.
Watch out for the name: “Morumbi” station on Lines 9 and 17 is a different station, used for the Congonhas connection 16. For the stadium, get off at São Paulo-Morumbi (Line 4) 12.
Bus: at recent shows, SPTrans ran a special operation with 13 or 14 lines, with extra buses until 1:30am and route detours. They included 647A/10, 647P/10, N742/11, 807J/10, 807M/10, 775F/10 and 8028/10 (Paraisópolis–Metrô Morumbi) 5,6,7.
Car or app: from 1pm, CET closes Av. Giovanni Gronchi, Praça Roberto Gomes Pedrosa, Av. Jorge João Saad, Av. Jules Rimet and other streets. At the Harry Styles shows, the designated pick-up and drop-off points were Shopping Butantã, Giovanni Gronchi x Praça Santos Coimbra and Giovanni Gronchi x Rua Santo Américo 4. Parking is scarce 10,11.
Line 4 normally runs from 4:40am to midnight 10. No special operation has been confirmed for 2027 yet.
What usually happens: at the Harry Styles shows (Jul 2026), São Paulo-Morumbi had extra staff and train intervals adjusted to the end of the show 2. At the Shakira show (Feb 2025), the station stayed open until 1am, while the rest of the network ran until midnight 3. For the AC/DC shows, no extended hours were announced 10.
SPTrans special buses ran until 1:30am at recent shows 5,6,7.
CET may close exit roads from 10pm and open a reversible lane on Giovanni Gronchi. If you're driving, the advice is to wait about 30 minutes before leaving 4.
On ride-hailing apps, surge pricing runs high and the pick-up point is usually far away because of the road closures 8,10.
Where to stay
Pinheiros/Faria Lima: Pinheiros and Faria Lima stations are on Line 4, a few stops before São Paulo-Morumbi. Pinheiros also serves Line 9 1.
Av. Paulista: Paulista station links Lines 4 and 2, and bus line 316 comes straight from GRU 1,14.
Butantã: the station next to São Paulo-Morumbi; Shopping Butantã was a CET pick-up point 1,4.
City centre (República/Luz): direct on Line 4, with connections to Lines 1 and 3 and to CPTM 1.

Tips

Save your ticket so it opens offline, and agree on a meeting point with your group 8,9.
Police advise going back only by metro or SPTrans bus and avoiding unlicensed transport 7.
CET advises not leaving your car with flanelinhas (informal street parking attendants) 4.
Note down your phone's IMEI (dial *#06#). If it's stolen, the federal government's Celular Seguro service blocks the device and the line 19.
Leaving is slow, with queues: plan your way back before the show ends 10.
