Official transport

Arriving in the city

  • Ezeiza (EZE): about 32 km from the city centre, around 50 minutes by car. There are taxis, transfers and the Tienda León coach to the company's base in Puerto Madero. City buses require a SUBE card (transit card) and have little room for luggage 1. Colectivo (city bus) line 8 links Ezeiza to Aeroparque, via Retiro and Plaza de Mayo 4.
  • Aeroparque (AEP): in Palermo, about 25 minutes from the main hotels 1. It's served by lines 33, 37, 45, 160, 8, 34, 114 and 166 3. Lines 33, 37, 45 and 160 also stop at Ciudad Universitaria, near the stadium 8; check the route in the BA Cómo Llego app 2.
  • Official taxi (black and yellow): metered, and charges only in pesos. You can also order one through the BA Taxi app 2.

Getting to the stadium

  • Subte (underground) Line D to Congreso de Tucumán, the end of the line, in Belgrano. From there it's about 14 blocks on foot 11,13.
  • Mitre train (from Retiro): Núñez station (about 14 blocks from the stadium) or Belgrano C 7,11. Belgrano Norte train: Ciudad Universitaria station, about 6 blocks away, with access via Puente Labruna 11.
  • Colectivos: lines 41, 44, 57, 60, 63, 65, 67, 68, 80 and 152, among others, run along Metrobús Cabildo. On Av. del Libertador: 15, 28, 29, 107 and 130. At Ciudad Universitaria: 28, 33, 34, 37, 42, 45, 107 and 160 8.
  • Entrances, depending on your section: Av. del Libertador at Udaondo or Campos Salles, and Av. Figueroa Alcorta at Monroe 7. The Belgrano, San Martín and Sívori sections can also be reached via Puente Labruna 11.
  • Car: at the Bad Bunny shows (Feb 2026), the perimeter was closed from 11am to 1am, and parts of Figueroa Alcorta and Udaondo were closed in the afternoon 5. The advice is to avoid driving 6. There's no published official zone for ride-hailing apps.

After the show

  • This has happened at several recent events (Dua Lipa 2025, Bad Bunny and Lali 2026, Messi's farewell in Oct 2026): Line D was extended until 1:30am. Boarding is only at Congreso de Tucumán, and trains stop at Olleros, Palermo/Plaza Italia, Pueyrredón and 9 de Julio 5,8,9,10. Not yet confirmed for U2.
  • Trains stop early: at the Oasis show, the last Mitre trains left around 10:30–10:40pm for Retiro and 11:10pm for Tigre 7. Check the official timetable 12.
  • Between 12:30am and 1:30am, some colectivos use different stops: 15, 29 and 130 at Metrobús Cabildo; 28 at Ciudad Universitaria; 107 at Monroe and Cabildo 8.

Where to stay

  • Palermo: Plaza Italia and Palermo stations on Line D, both stops on the extended service; close to Aeroparque 1,9,13.
  • Belgrano: home to Congreso de Tucumán (end of Line D), plus Belgrano C station on the Mitre line 7,13.
  • Núñez: the stadium's own neighbourhood; you can walk there 11.
  • Av. Santa Fe corridor: Line D runs under the avenue, and Pueyrredón station is a stop on the late-night service 9,13.
  • City centre (9 de Julio): a stop on the extended service, with connections to Lines B and C 9,13.
